Yes, and we recommend it. At Christmas, Easter and on long weekends places fill one to two weeks ahead. Book as early as you can to secure your instructor and time.
Send us a short video of you skiing on WhatsApp and we will recommend the right lesson. That way every minute counts from the start.
The earlier the better. In high season — Christmas, the first half of February and Easter — some time slots fill weeks ahead. We recommend booking at least two to three weeks out to secure the time and the type of lesson you want.
Yes. We are genuinely flexible: if circumstances change — extreme weather, injury or another good reason — we handle the change or cancellation with you directly on WhatsApp. We are not a platform with automated policies; we are people talking to people. Tell us your situation.
If the resort closes completely because of extreme conditions, we move the lesson to another day — or, if it is already paid for and cannot go ahead, we refund it without argument. On foggy or snowy days with pistes open, lessons run as normal: we know exactly which areas work best in each set of conditions.
We confirm payment terms when we confirm your booking on WhatsApp. There is no automated online payment system: we work directly and personally. If you have a preference about payment, tell us with no obligation. We normally take bank transfer, PayPal or cash.
Yes, and it is what we recommend. Planning consecutive sessions lets each lesson build on the last in a structured way. We will help you design a multi-day programme around your level, your goals and the times you are free.
Yes. Tell us if you have a preference and we will take it into account subject to availability. If that instructor is already booked, we will either assign the one best suited to your profile and goals, or offer their next free slot so you can choose. We reply directly on WhatsApp. The booking is confirmed in writing in that same chat, with your instructor's name, the meeting point and the exact time. There are no automated confirmations and no third-party systems: all communication is directly with our team.
Booking with Alpine Ski Academy is straightforward. Tell us the dates, the number of skiers, their ages and roughly what level you are, and we will suggest the best option: private lessons for faster progress, or group lessons for a more social atmosphere and a lower price. If you do not know what level you are, do not worry; send a short description or a video over WhatsApp and we will point you in the right direction, with no obligation.
We work with qualified TD1, TD2 and TD3 instructors across the whole of Baqueira Beret, from the beginner areas to off-piste. We confirm instructor and time availability as you book, and answer any question about equipment, meeting points, insurance or payment.
